Who we are

At Living on a Prayer Co., we envision a world where every individual affected by chronic homelessness, addiction, and incarceration has the opportunity to break the cycle and rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and hope. We believe in the power of people and rehabilitation, creating a compassionate space where individuals receive the support they need to heal, grow, and reconnect with their families and communities. Through comprehensive care, unwavering belief in human potential, and commitment to second chances, we strive to transform lives and foster a society where no one is left behind. Built on the understanding that, according to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, a person cannot understand themselves and self actualize until they’re basic physical, physiological, and emotional needs are met, we aim to target the physical and cognitive needs of a client while setting them up to understand themselves and the world around them. Combining the science behind neurogenesis, we aim to combat cognitive impairment caused by long-term addiction and trauma in order to rebuild neural pathways so that clients are able to learn how to meet their own needs as much as possible. We aim to provide long-term and innovative solutions to those are have historically been considered “difficult cases” due to difficulties with consistency in service, and reduce the stigmas associated with mental health, addiction, and chronic homelessness. We call Montrose, CO our home, and offer services to those on the Western Slope whenever openings are available!
